Having played all the other fitness games (can you really call them games? or say that anyone played them? when its a exercise) for years, and I can inform you (and have told you) the pro and con of every. They all claim to become a trainer in a box so to some degree or a different are successful at which claim but Active takes this with a whole new level. Using the Wiimote and Nunchuck in conjunction with the resistance leg bands and artists to not only present you with a workout but in order to gauge how well your doing, and if your doing an exercise properly or not and you get immediate feedback. This is vastly improved on a lot of the others, where you just finish up fighting with odd controls as an alternative to perfecting proper form. I have heard a large number of reviews for Active say that they found the controls clumsy and nonresponsive. I disagree with that will fully! At first, I felt that way but I quickly realized so it was not the game to fault but our form. Watching the picture inside picture, and included training videos I determined where my mistakes ended up and corrected them. Problem solved. So clearly is a case of following precisely what your trainer says because you are told and it does flash on the screen you must correct your form. I do wish it had methods to incorporate your own products (like my exercise coach) so I could truthfully use my weights, workout ball, and have an productive heartbeat monitor to adhere to. Granted it will always be good for 90% belonging to the people out there But it is extremely weak, and if your wanting to step up your workouts you need to purchase one from a fitness store virtually right away.
