| It looks like this shoe had a real toe that somehow got lopped off in the production process, and the brand decided to sell the remaining stock anyway. Square toes just aren｡ｯt relevant in footwear right now on either side of the gender divide, and the depth of this platform makes the misstep impossible to ignore. It｡ｯs as if Zanotti is flaunting the poorly timed choice, but I｡ｯm not sure that consumers will be as enthusiastic, given the wealth of options on the superplatform market as a result of the Christian Louboutin Daffodil｡ｯs popularity You guys know me. Normally, not only do I try to focus on shoes I love rather than bashing shoes I hate, but I｡ｯm also generally supportive of all of Giuseppe Zanotti｡ｯs zanier side. I dig his heelless platforms and extreme stilettos, almost without exception. Particularly in the last two years, Zanotti has been more or less beyond reproach in my mind. Until the Giuseppe Zanotti Extreme Platform Pumps, that is. We need to talk about that toe. So if a little sparkle is good, wouldn｡ｯt a whole lot of sparkle be better? That｡ｯs where the Miu Miu Glitter and Crystal Brogues come in, and they combine all of Miu Miu｡ｯs gaudy (and I mean that in the nicest way possible) into one resplendent shoe that might require its owner to wear sunglasses, even at night. Even though 200 pairs of these beaded and crystal-studded mesh heels will be produced, they｡ｯre all going to be given away, apparently to lucky winners of some sort of contest that has yet to be announced. Depending on your personal budget, that might be good news or bad news, but personally, I｡ｯm a little underwhelmed by the design. I｡ｯve never been much of a butterfly lover, so that might be why, but I just expected something a bit more innovative for Louboutin｡ｯs take on the most famous pair of shoes in literary history.
