Using an 1870s family to tell the story, it introduces visitors to th e lives and experiences of the hundreds of men, women and children who worked in the town's cotton mills between the 1830s and 1929. The exhibit includes artifacts, diaries, photos and a re-created millworker's home. Admission is free.
