| Lately a message came from CCP that they want to introduce micropayements to Eve online. First merchandise that will be available for sale is skill remap. Eve online is an awesome MMO as it is. One server, about 35 thousand players online, hundreds of people clashing with each other in defense of theirs dominions. When I heard about this project I was like WTF. We already pay a monthly fee for playing Eve. Now they want to introduce head start for those who are willing to spend more cash on the game? There is already a decent system implemented which allows those with spare cash to legally purchase ISK eve money. This system works fine for quite some time now and is one of the best solutions implemented by CCP. But micropayements are dangerous. By looking at all other games that decided to implement micropayements you will notice that all of those MMOs balance is now messed up. It always starts with little things but the demand for better and better merchandise quickly spins the system out of control. Those with to much real money get unfair advantage over players who cant afford to spend more than the monthly fee. So CCP do not break Eve. Rise the monthly fee if you need to but don't mess up the fragile balance of New Eden. kredyt na dowod |
