You list yourself as both the receiver and sender of the money. You indicate on the form which city in Ukraine you want the money sent. Be sure to ask in advance whether that city has a Western Union outlet (Western Union is very prevelant in Ukraine). Pay the amount you want sent together with Western Union fees. Take your receipt with you to Ukraine so you will have the redeeming number. Go to one of the Western Union outlets in the Ukraine city you designated on the form. Tell them you have money to pick up. Show your passport and give them the redeeming number. They will then pay you the amount you sent. Insist that they pay you in USA dollars (they must). You can get a better exchange rate someplace other than Western Union. It is not difficult and is the safer then carrying cash. I did it myself when I traveled to Chernovtsy last fall. Remember,Ukraine is a backward financial country. Individuals do not have checking accounts nor credit cards. Except in the larger cities, they are uncomfortable with traveler's check and credit cards. Too much counterfeiting.
